COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Our Community Officer and club members volunteer weekly to put back into our community and develop women's and girls rugby throughout the County.
Our Club Community Officer was established in May 2018 at the Annual General Meeting, with the aim to give back to the community and increase the general female population in Rugby Union, whether this maybe in clubs or schools.

2018 PREPOSITION
Alumna Coreen Grant requested this executive role whilst on her year abroad in Australia, whilst playing rugby. She witnessed the developmental progression in which the women shared their love for the game with beginners, encouraging them to participate.
DUWRFC X DCWRFC
DUWRFC helped Durham City RFC to set up and run their first Women's club. DUWRFC helped to direct training sessions and coordinated all publicity for the Women's section.
"The continuous support from the alumni network of the club has been fantastic - the alumni are the foundation the club."
